About Us

Innovation requires capital, and growing capital requires innovation. But in agriculture and plant science, the flow of capital is limited. Because there has yet to be centrally located information - a network - for agtech innovation, the flow of capital is further hindered.

The Global Agtech Investors Network (GAIN) a 501 (c)3 not for profit corporation, aims to address this issue.

Our purpose is to strengthen and facilitate the capital formation effort of investors and agtech companies, expose innovative technologies to the agricultural industry and to serve as a central repository for agtech innovation information.

GAIN's membership is made up of organizations around the globe including venture capital funds, corporations, institutions, associations, government agencies and service providers.

Why St. Louis?

St. Louis is currently home to more than 400 agtech organizations. Many more attend the numerous conferences and meetings held in the Gateway City each year. This already robust infrastructure makes St. Louis the ideal location for GAIN global headquarters. St. Louis helps lend the credibility necessary to create an organization focused on promoting innovative agriculture and plant science companies.
